Universal Orlando Resort is currently hiring over 1,700 new Team Members to work at their new water park, Universal’s Volcano Bay, opening in June. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for positions throughout this tropical paradise.

The new park is looking for people to fill a variety of jobs, including culinary, food services, security, lifeguards, custodial, parking, transportation and ticket sales.

In addition to multiple job fairs, Universal will host a special call for lifeguards from 8:30am to 3pm on Saturday January 28th at the resort’s human resources office. Universal will be hiring more than 400 lifeguards to support the new water park.

New Team Members get perks such as free park admission, discounts, complimentary guest passes and more.

Volcano Bay is Universal’s first water park, that they are building from the ground up. It is replacing Wet ‘n Wild as Universal Orlando’s water park. Spanning 28 acres, Volcano Bay will transport you to a lush, tropical oasis inspired by the Pacific isles. The centerpiece of the park will be a 200-foot-tall volcano named “Krakatau”, and many of the parks centerpiece attractions will be housed within this massive volcano.

There will be 18 attractions in four themed areas. These will include a multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, a peaceful winding river, twisting multi-rider raft rides, speeding body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into the waters below, and a state-of-the-art water coaster.
