Big Changes On the Way for Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure – Rumor Mill

While originally designed to open in the mid 1990s inside of Universal Studios Florida, “Jurassic Park: The Ride” was instead selected to anchor the resort’s second gate, which was to be built next door. Jurassic Park, the land, opened with Islands of Adventure in 1999, with a couple rides, a walk-through attraction, play and discover areas for kids, and several restaurants. Over the years we lost Triceratops Discovery Trail and gained a Raptor Encounter. We lost one of the land’s iconic entry gates (and the other now has a Wizarding castle visible behind it.) And some midway games have been sprinkled in for good measure. But are even more drastic changes coming to the land in the near future?
