Universal Orlando’s first “Value” category hotel is now open, featuring 2-Bedroom suites, theme park perks, a surfboard-shaped pool, and a food court with great, inexpensive food – all at an affordable price.

Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites offers guests a relaxed and easy retreat, with rates starting as low as $73 a night when you book a 7-night stay, and 2-bedroom suites perfect for vacationing families. Let’s take a look at the rooms, restaurants, amenities, and more for Universal Orlando’s all-new seventh on-site property.

Designed by the same folks at Universal Creative that design the theme park experiences we all love, the all new Surfside Inn and Suites offers 750 rooms, and is the seventh property created in partnership with Loews Hotels.

Surfside Inn and Suites is now open, but its sister property, Dockside Inn and Suites, is scheduled to open in March 2020. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort all together will add 2,800 rooms to Universal Orlando – bringing the total room count at the Resort to 9,000 rooms.

Theme Park Perks

One of the best parts of staying at a Universal Orlando on-site hotel are the theme park benefits. While Surfside Inn and Suites does not offer free Express, (currently only Portofino, Hard Rock, and Royal Pacific do,) there are still some neat perks to staying here, plus, you really cannot beat the price and value.

Complimentary Transportation
Guests receive complimentary resort-wide shuttle transportation to the theme parks and Volcano Bay, as well as CityWalk. The trips back and forth are less than 5-minutes.

Early Park Admission
One of the best benefits is Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay, one hour before the theme parks open. This means you are first to your favorite rides. (Note: Check to see which of the two theme parks are offering early admission during your stay. Some days it is Universal Studios Florida while others is Islands of Adventure.) Of course, valid theme park tickets are required.

Resort-Wide Charging Privileges
Forget carrying your wallet around, with Resort-wide charging privileges, your room key card is your main form of payment.

Complimentary Delivery of Merchandise
Anything you purchase at stores throughout the resort can be sent directly to your hotel for you so you don’t need to carry around bags around while riding rides.

CityWalk Club-to-Club Access
Your room key also gives you complimentary club-to-club access to select Universal CityWalk venues during your stay. Just show your room key to get into the clubs.

Rooms and Rates

Extra affordable, yet fun and immersive, the room designs for Surfside Inn and Suites are just as fun, breezy, and beachy as the rest of the resort. Available in either a standard room or 2-bedroom suites, all rooms feature bright colors and a laid back style meant to evoke that ocean lifestyle while appealing to everyone.

With prices as low as $73 for standard or $111 for suites when you book a 7-night stay, it’s surprising how nice these rooms really are. More info on pricing and booking below.

Standard Rooms

A bright and beachy retreat for up to 4, this inviting 313-square-foot room offers two queen beds with separate bath and vanity areas. With separate bath and vanity areas, it’s easy for multiple people to get ready at the same time. Amenities include a 43″ TV, mini refrigerator, and complimentary WiFi.

Standard Room Rates start at $85 per night, for off-peak days, when booking less than a week-long stay. (The advertised price of $73 a night is an introductory offer available when you book a 7-night stay.) Rates also fluctuate by day of week and time of year. Currently, during peak days on the busiest days of the year, the rate ranges from $114 to $204 per night. Rooms with pool view are also available for a slightly higher rate. 2-Bedroom Suites

The 2-bedroom suites, which make up more than half the rooms at Surfside Inn and Suites, sleep up to six and feel like a spacious beach retreat. At 440 square-feet they offer two separate rooms, so families no longer need connecting rooms for extra space. The bathroom has a separate bath and vanity area so multiple people can get ready at once.

All suites feature three queen-size beds, two TVs (43″ & 49″), and a kitchenette with a sink, picnic table for meals and hanging out, large mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Plus, every room includes complimentary WiFi.

2-Bedroom Suite Rates start at $131 per night, for off-peak days, when booking less than a week-long stay. (The advertised price of $111 a night is an introductory offer available when booking a 7-night stay.) Rates also fluctuate by day of week and time of year. The pool looks more like a Goldfish cracker than a surfboard.
