We’re stopping in at Epcot to check on the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster construction along with a few new additions to the park. Work walls surround the now closed Universe of Energy as the site is prepared to become a Guardians of the Galaxy coaster attraction. Land is being cleared behind the site for a new large building that will house the indoor coaster. The existing structure will be used for queue, preshow, and ride load platform.
Holidays Around the World has been renamed to the Epcot Festival of the Holidays. Food booths are set up all around World Showcase for the event (see full menus here.) A brand new show has opened at Innoventions called SpectacuLAB. The show is 30-minutes long and features real scientists and science experiments. Choza de Margarita is now open and there’s a new Dia de los Muertos exhibit at the Mexico Pavilion. Check out the video and photo report below and stay tuned for more theme park updates.
