Universal Destinations & Experiences has announced new details for their upcoming year-round attraction coming to Las Vegas in 2025.
Universal Horror Unleashed will feature four highly-themed haunted houses, food and drink, merchandise, and seasonal events. The new venue is being built now as part of an expansion to AREA15.
Today, the company revealed the four haunted houses that Universal Horror Unleashed will open with will be based on Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist: Believer, and Scarecrow: The Reaping.
Universal Horror Unleashed will also offer food, drinks, and merchandise, with Universal saying there will be themed zones around each of the houses and it will offer seasonal events throughout the year.
The announcement teased Jack the Clown, an original character from the company, which may mean he and others could possibly be found roaming the venue outside of the haunted mazes.

The only one I just don’t get is Exorcist: Believer. Although the house was very good, the movie was a flop, so why not target a more successful Blumhouse film? I mean, I could see FNAF or Megan being a unique draw to the Vegas attraction instead of a movie no one saw.
For a non-IP, hard to do much better than Scarecrow (well, maybe Graveyard Games…)
It will be interesting to see which presentation they use for TCM, as HHN has done so many. Although it will probably be the traditional first film version, I think Hollywood’s version this year is the best of any ever done.
Same for Universal Monsters – So many different presentations (this year being sooooo bad). Do they do Unchained – teasing Epic? Or one of the more popular stories from the parks? How about Bride without plexiglass and masks, please!
