The Universal Stella Nova Resort, located across the street from the new Epic Universe theme park, is set to welcome its firsts guests next week. Universal has shared new looks at the rooms, food, and more for this Prime Value hotel today.
Members of the media were granted a preview of the hotel in person this morning, which included new details we had not yet heard. Check out the official photos and information below, as well this video by Super Enthused from inside the resort.
The 750-room Stella Nova Resort offers rooms starting at $147 a night, with double queen guest rooms that sleep up to four guests. All rooms feature “spaceship-styled” windows.

It was revealed today that all of the galaxy-style art seen on the walls of the lobby are actual photographs of space from NASA. And all of the light fixtures hanging above are completely custom.
The inspiration for the front door of the hotel leading into the lobby is a black hole, which takes you deeper into space.
The Nova Bar can be found inside of the lobby.

Outside, the Galaxy Bar is located near the resort’s 10,000 square foot pool.
The Cosmos Cafe and Market offers a variety of new dishes, exclusive for this resort. Some of the offerings include Banana and Walnut Buttermilk Pancakes, Gooey Monkey Bread, Hot Honey Chicken Pizza, and Stuffed Croissants.

The market will also offer grab and go foods, Stella Nova branded resort soft drink cups, and serve Starbucks Coffee.
Due to the unique shape and height of the lobby’s ceiling, the third floor for the hotel features a long hallway with no rooms. Universal took the opportunity to transform this empty hallway into a starfield light show, called the “Star Bridge,” which makes for an interesting walk, as seen in the post below.

One last aspect of the hotel that was showcased today is the on-site Universal Studios Store, which is stocked with never-before-seen Epic Universe merchandise.

Some of the new merchandise available in the gift shop includes action figures based on characters that will be found in the Dark Universe section of Epic Universe.

Universal Stella Nova Resort officially opens on January 21, 2025. Its sister hotel, the Universal Terra Luna Resort, will be opening on March 25, 2025. Since the Epic Universe theme park is not set to open until May 22nd, guests staying at these resorts can still utilize complimentary transportation to the existing Universal Orlando Resort theme parks and CityWalk during their stay.
