We check in on those rumored new rides for Universal Studios Florida, and try to figure out why they’re not being built yet. Last year there were rumors that Fear Factor Live, Shrek 4-D, and KidZone were all going to close for new attractions, and yet they’re all still open. So, what happened? Probably has something to do with Universal Orlando getting permission to build a brand new theme park south of the current resort. Well, at least we’re getting a replacement for Terminator 2: 3D, but will it be any good?

What do you think? Is Universal Studios Florida a bit uneven now, with too many screen-based attractions? Or are you glad things like Nintendo are moving to the new park where they’ll have more room to expand?
