Promotional filming was going on today for the Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure. As part of the film shoot we got our first look at real people riding the new roller coaster. See the video below for multiple angle footage of today’s runs.
Since the footage they were shooting could be used in future advertisements or even for queue safety video, the riders were not wearing their masks during some of today’s tests.
Training is expected to begin tomorrow for regular Team Members that will be part of the VelociCoaster opening team, so we may see additional human testing as the week goes on.
The Jurassic World VelociCoaster is set to open this summer, but an exact date has not yet been revealed. Many are wondering if we could see previews or soft openings in the months ahead, but they will need to finish building the attraction’s entrance before we can start thinking about that!
That’s all for now, but check out our last story for more information about all of the new raptor statues that were recently installed for the attraction. And subscribe to the news feed or enter your email below to never miss an update.
