Universal Orlando’s all-new and original dining concept, Bigfire, is now officially open at Universal CityWalk. This full-service restaurant features food prepared over open flames and draws inspiration from nostalgic things like memorable summer vacations, camping, and backyard barbecues.
The new dining location replaced Emeril’s Orlando, which closed last year. Bigfire offers American fare like their special Bigfire bison burger, freshwater cuisine, steaks, and salads — all cooked over different types of wood, to bring out the smoky taste in each bite. For dessert your family can roast their own S’mores right at the table. See more information about this new table-service location below, including food photos and more.
As guests enter the restaurant, they will feel as though they have stepped into a lakeside summer house, surrounded by friends and family. Bigfire features natural design elements of mix and matched fabrics, cast iron, camp lanterns and more to complete the outdoor ambiance inside the restaurant.
One of the coolest things about Bigfire is the custom wood fire grill where chefs will prepare signature dishes inspired by the style of open-fire cooking. Food is carefully matched with wood species that have been carefully chosen based on the flavors they exude. The result? Delectable dishes, sides, desserts – and even cocktails – all infused with smoky spirits! And you have to save room for dessert because at Bigfire you can make s’mores – right at your table! Does it get any better?
Bigfire takes open-fire cooking to the next level, because each dish is expertly paired with the perfect type of wood, to bring out the smoky taste in each bite.
Dine on classic American dishes like the Bigfire bison burger, chili and cocoa rubbed steak, delectable freshwater cuisine and mouth-watering smoked salads.
At the heart of the new venue is a custom built wood fire grill that allows you to see your meal being made right before your eyes.
Make sure you save room for the best part of any meal – dessert! We guarantee the most popular desserts will be the Baked Alaska, as well as the Tableside S’mores!.
This new venue is located between VIVO Italian Kitchen and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville on the edge of the lagoon – offering incredible views of Universal CityWalk. Bigfire is currently open daily for dinner service. It is a full-service dining location. See hours and menus here.
