Walt Disney World has opened reservations for several of the highly anticipated experiences guests will find at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when it officially opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29th.
Guests can now reserve their spots at Oga’s Cantina, which is a bar and lounge, Savi’s Workshop, where you get to build (and purchase) your own lightsaber, and the Droid Depot, where you can design (and purchase) your very own droid. Reservations are first come first serve, and while they are not required to experience these locations, Disney says they are “highly recommended.” More details and links below.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29, 2019. Reservations for these experiences will now be available for up to 180 days ahead of your visit (although many of the openings for the initial week are already reserved).

With only 3 weeks left until the massive new land opens at Walt Disney World, everyone is excited to experience the new ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, as well new dining experiences and shopping opportunities. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, along with the rest of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will be opening to general guests at 6:00 AM on August 29th through the 31st.
From September 1 to November 2, Extra Magic Hours will be offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios every morning from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. After these “extra” Extra Magic Hours end on November 2, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will continue to be a part of the regularly scheduled Extra Magic Hours.
