Disney Dining Plan Now Accepted for Mobile Order at Walt Disney World

Alicia Stella Theme Park News

Mobile Order is a handy service where you can order your food in advance and pick it up without waiting. It is currently available at 23 different locations throughout Walt Disney World. Since launching last Spring it has only accepting credit and debit card payments through the app. Now, with the recent update to the My Disney Experience app, Disney Dining Plans are also accepted.

Guests with Disney dining plans can redeem meals and snacks in Mobile Order. All three Disney dining plans are available with Mobile Order: the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. To access Mobile Order, tap the “Order Food” button under “My Plans” in the app. See more details below and check out our Complete Guide to Mobile Order including step-by-step instructions as well as a full list of participating locations.

Guests using Mobile Order with their Disney Dining Plan can select which items in their order they would like to apply towards snack and meal credits and which items they would like to pay for with a credit/debit card. The app will let you know if you’re entitled to a free drink or other items before you check out, so you never miss out on utilizing your plan to the fullest.

You can now see a full list of your remaining meal and snack credits as well as browse your recent Dining Plan usage history with this new update (see video below for a demonstration.) This latest app update builds on other new features like room charge viewing, Online Check-In Service and more, that are helping to improve the overall experience for guests of Walt Disney World.

Disney Gift Cards and passholder or other discounts can still not be used with Mobile Order at this time. Orders must be placed in person to receive a discount or use a gift card. Special dietary requests (gluten free, allergy-free, etc.) must also be made in person and cannot be made through the app at this time.

Download the My Disney Experience app from your device’s app store to get started today! Be sure to check out our Complete Guide to Mobile Order including step-by-step instructions as well as a full list of participating locations.

Thank you for the information! Curious as to whether or not you can indicate while mobile ordering that you would like to use a quick-service credit to purchase three snacks where eligible to do so, or if you need to speak to a human being in order to indicate as such.

    Thanks again!

I’m not so sure about that. The last time I checked, meals and snacks were only purchasable using a meal or snack credit from the app. Splitting a quick-service credit to purchase multiple snacks at once would likely still need to be done in person.

Although, it may be possible to have your quick-service credits split into snack credits by visiting the hotel concierge beforehand. Not sure though.
